About the Role:

HITACHI ENERGY FRANCE is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in France. As a key member of our local business unit, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the energy transition of the business unit in the country, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive demand and growth, working closely with internal sales teams and global key account managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing regular market intelligence updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promote the complete Transformers portfolio in the country, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to capture them.
  • Develop and implement the BU 2030 strategy plan for the country, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Lead company-wide exercises related to market and budget analysis, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Drive growth initiatives across product lines, segments, and channels, identifying opportunities for expansion and development.
  • Support the collection of success stories and customer testimonials, highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Identify and pursue pilot opportunities for new products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring them to market.
  • Participate in country marketing events, representing HITACHI ENERGY FRANCE and promoting our brand.

Requirements:

  • More than 7 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in sales, management, and business development.
  • Engineering background (ideally in Energies) with specialization in sales and management.
  • Knowledge of the local market in France, with experience in Transformers products a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English, with willingness to travel regularly to connect with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to negotiate, influence, and lead teams.
  • Required skills: negotiation, teamwork, influencing leadership, and proactivity.
