About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Account Manager to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our global customer relationships with large energy companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management of global accounts, working closely with our customers' IT organizations to build strategic relationships and articulate a clear vision.
  • Sell at the most strategic level within the account, implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Work with all appropriate AWS resources to support customer interests, including executives, solution architects, business development, marketing, partners, support, and professional services teams.
  • Develop formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working at a technology company as the lead account and relationship manager of a large global organization.
  • Energy industry knowledge and experience.
  • Cloud solutions knowledge and experience.
  • Fluent English and French, with Spanish preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as the primary account manager of a global federated enterprise working with multiple business units and influencing governance and policy.
  • BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record establishing credibility quickly with senior-level executives across organizations.
  • Strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) preferred but not required.
