The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) division is tasked with enhancing revenue, fostering adoption, and driving growth among a diverse range of clients, from small and mid-market enterprises to large-scale public sector organizations.

The AWS Global Support team collaborates with top-tier companies, recognizing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global clientele that is developing critical applications utilizing AWS services.

Position Overview
The AWS Supply Chain Go-to-Market (GTM) team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled application sales specialist with expertise in supply chain applications that facilitate digital supply chain transformation across various industries.

This position will adopt a swift sales process approach, showcasing the strengths of the AWS Supply Chain application to enable our clients to implement solutions throughout the entire supply chain, with an initial focus on planning, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Our team is dedicated to aligning our clients' requirements with our existing and future application capabilities, collaborating with clients who are a strong fit to rapidly deploy solutions.

  • Identifying, scoping, and validating opportunities during the sales process for AWS Supply Chain digital applications that yield measurable business outcomes for our clients and AWS.
  • Conducting executive workshops with global supply chain leaders and their teams.
  • Collaborating with AWS Professional Services, service teams, partners, and Amazon product teams.
  • Engaging with our AWS Partner Network and key industry Independent Software Vendors to enhance their Digital Supply Chain solutions on AWS.
  • Participating in industry conferences and executive briefings to support rapid opportunity cycles.

A Day in the Life
Our work involves collaborating with senior leaders and their teams at our clients, partners, and within Amazon to identify and match supply chain needs with capabilities that deliver value through the AWS Supply Chain application.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.
  • Industry experience in selling supply chain planning, inventory, fulfillment, and supplier collaboration applications, or the integration of these complex solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in building profitable partner ecosystems.
  • Experience in developing detailed go-to-market strategies.
