Revenue Manager Pullman Cap Town

Position Scope :
As a Revenue Manager at the Pullman Cap town hotel, you will be responsible for achieving the optimal mix of rooms and conference sales revenues to meet budget RevPAR targets.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement revenue strategies to maximize income from individual, group, and conference business.
- Conduct weekly RevPro meetings to discuss revenue strategies and sales tactics with the Director of Sales and General Manager.
- Ensure accurate and efficient management of all reservation channels, maintaining RIL rate integrity policies.
- Analyze market conditions and trends to identify business opportunities and optimize revenue streams.
- Provide education and training to Front Office, Reservation, and Sales teams on revenue management best practices.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to create and implement sales and marketing plans, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Foster a team-working environment that promotes morale, commitment, and performance within the reservations department and the hotel.
- Ensure all directions are followed and implemented as requested by Senior Management.
- Manage room inventory to maximize yield per available room.
- Educate team members on local, regional, and corporate programs to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Analyze the impact of promotional programs on revenue streams.
- Update and maintain all 3rd party websites on a daily basis to ensure accurate information.
- Update and maintain GDS – TARS & Hotel Distribution to optimize revenue streams.
- Set daily selling hurdles and market rates to maximize yield.
- Implement an upselling program to increase revenue.
- Maintain open communication with Senior Management regarding any changes or updates.
- Develop and communicate an overbooking policy, adjusting according to market mix, daily movements, historical wash, and lead times.
- Conduct competition analysis for all main reservation channels to stay ahead in the market.
- Record turn-aways in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Review no-shows with the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) and decide on charging fees.
- Control all reservation movements for standard coding, providing direct feedback and monthly training on mistakes.
- Ensure correct market segmentation of gained business.
