Revenue Manager Position at Pullman Cap Town

As a key member of the Accor team, the Revenue Manager at Pullman Cap Town will be responsible for driving revenue growth and optimizing hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize revenue income through strategic sales and marketing initiatives
- Develop and implement effective revenue strategies to achieve budget targets
- Manage and maintain all reservation channels to ensure optimal revenue yield
- Analyze market trends and opportunities to inform revenue decisions
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Provide training and education to front office and reservation teams on revenue management best practices
- Active role in forecasting and budgeting, and sales and marketing planning
- Maintain a high-performing team environment that promotes morale, commitment, and performance
- Ensure all directives are followed as per senior management's request
- Manage room inventory to maximize yield per available room
- Stay up-to-date with local, regional, and corporate programs to educate team members
- Analyze the impact of promotional programs on revenue
- Update and maintain all third-party websites daily
- Update and maintain GDS – TARS & Hotel Distribution
- Set daily selling hurdles and market rates to maximize yield
- Implement an upselling program to increase revenue
- Maintain open communication with senior management on any changes
- Create and communicate overbooking policies and adjust according to market mix, daily movements, historical wash, and lead times
- Conduct competition analysis for all main reservation channels
- Record turn-aways in PMS
- Update daily pickup report
- Review no-shows with DOSM and decide on charging fees
- Control all reservation movements for standard coding with direct feedback and monthly training on mistakes
- Ensure correct market segmentation of gained business
