Position Overview
As a key member of the Accor team, the Revenue Manager at Pullman Cap Town will be responsible for driving revenue growth and optimizing hotel performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize revenue income through strategic sales and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and implement effective revenue strategies to achieve budget targets
  • Manage and maintain all reservation channels to ensure optimal revenue yield
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities to inform revenue decisions
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Provide training and education to front office and reservation teams on revenue management best practices
  • Active role in forecasting and budgeting, and sales and marketing planning
  • Maintain a high-performing team environment that promotes morale, commitment, and performance
  • Ensure all directives are followed as per senior management's request
  • Manage room inventory to maximize yield per available room
  • Stay up-to-date with local, regional, and corporate programs to educate team members
  • Analyze the impact of promotional programs on revenue
  • Update and maintain all third-party websites daily
  • Update and maintain GDS – TARS & Hotel Distribution
  • Set daily selling hurdles and market rates to maximize yield
  • Implement an upselling program to increase revenue
  • Maintain open communication with senior management on any changes
  • Create and communicate overbooking policies and adjust according to market mix, daily movements, historical wash, and lead times
  • Conduct competition analysis for all main reservation channels
  • Record turn-aways in PMS
  • Update daily pickup report
  • Review no-shows with DOSM and decide on charging fees
  • Control all reservation movements for standard coding with direct feedback and monthly training on mistakes
  • Ensure correct market segmentation of gained business
