Inside Sales Representative Job Description

This role is part of our Terova business unit, which focuses on delivering sustainable, ethically-sourced, traceable ingredients that add value to our customers' food & nutraceutical brands. Our mission is to Blend Care and Creativity to Nourish the World.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales development through pre-sales activities, identifying leads, generating opportunities, and managing target accounts.
  • Work closely with the Global Business Development Director to define targeted prospection and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research on customers to gather critical information and assess competitors.
  • Reach out and maintain regular contact with leads/target accounts via phone, email, or online channels.
  • Reopen and follow up on cold cases, and collect and communicate pre-sales supports.
  • Organize and monitor sample activities to initiate approval processes.
  • Directly handle slow gestation/small accounts and provide a positive/differentiated sales experience.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects, update CRM systems, and ensure accurate sales pipeline tracking.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four/five-years college or university, preferably in Food Science/Marketing/Business.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar position, with a preference for experience in the food industry and/or food ingredients.
  • Alignment with Terova's mission and values.
  • Interest and familiarity with quality, performance, and sustainability standards.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work as a team-player effectively with international teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and desirable experience working with CRM/ERP platforms.
