Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Executive Communications, the Lead Executive Communications Strategist will oversee the formulation and implementation of strategic internal and external messaging for Executive Committee members.

This role is integral to Ubisoft's Global Communications team and will collaborate closely with colleagues responsible for internal messaging, community engagement, social media outreach, and public relations. The individual in this position will partner with various stakeholders across the organization to enhance comprehensive executive communication strategies that bolster the company's reputation and support business goals.

In terms of daily functions, this position will concentrate on executing the overarching executive communications strategy, crafting executive messages aimed at key internal and external audiences, producing engaging content aligned with the company's reputational and business priorities, and managing events involving executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and execution of strategic engagement plans for C-level executives, both internally and externally – encompassing company milestones, internal gatherings, press events, multimedia presentations, media interviews, etc.
  • Compose executive communications in both French and English, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and tailoring content to the audience.
  • Create and develop innovative, engaging, and impactful formats to effectively connect with and engage our key audiences, including the monthly communications playbook.
  • Oversee and deliver significant internal events involving top executives (logistics, communication strategies, content creation, rehearsals, etc.).
  • Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies to refine the communications approach.
  • Proactively identify emerging challenges and collaborate with the broader Global Communications team to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Cultivate internal and external relationships to facilitate the effective delivery of integrated communication strategies.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a medium to senior level of experience in communications, public relations, and/or journalism within a dynamic international environment. A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and a history of achieving results are essential.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Proficiency in translating complex concepts into clear, compelling language for diverse audiences, including key stakeholders, media, consumers, and employees, in both French (fluent) and English (bilingual).
  • Exceptional writing skills that are equally effective in both written publications and oral presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
