Spirit AeroSystems is a leading manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial and defense customers.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Global Customer Support Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global customer support team, developing positive customer relationships, and resolving complex customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a global customer support team to develop standard processes across sites.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, addressing concerns proactively.
- Answer complex customer inquiries on product availability, part interchangeability, maintenance, and order status.
- Monitor customer requests and orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate the resolution of customer issues related to pricing, schedule, cost, quality, warranty, invoicing, and technical matters.
- Proactively communicate with customers to acknowledge receipt of requests and provide status reports.
- Act as the focal point for all customer communication.
- Keep sales department personnel informed of customer activity and issues.
- Develop and provide periodic repair order status reports to company management and customers.
- Ensure high-quality services during customer visits, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Make appropriate business judgments and decisions independently.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks with rapid changes in priorities.
- Handle adverse situations.
- Have 3-5 years' experience managing global customer service in the aviation industry.
- Have customer service experience in the aviation industry.
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Military Aviation Customer Service Background.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
