We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager/Sales Engineer for Aerospace Europe (m/f/d) to join our Aerospace Continental Europe Hub.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and oversee customer strategies and departmental goals to meet sales and profit targets.
- Establish and nurture relationships through customer visits, ensuring alignment on mutual objectives and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Highlight the unique strengths and capabilities of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in targeted growth sectors.
- Generate new requests for quotations and track performance against established targets and market segments.
- Collaborate closely with internal customer service teams to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate pricing agreements and manage customer pricing structures in accordance with business strategies.
- Oversee the payment processes for customer invoices and engage actively in cash collection efforts.
- Maintain and update customer records in designated storage systems.
- Handle customer account creation, analyze sales performance, and prepare sales forecasts.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Account Management or Territory Sales, showcasing a proactive attitude essential for success.
- Proven ability to cultivate new business opportunities and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Capability to work autonomously from a home office, with regular travel to engage with customers and prospects in the region.
- Highly self-driven with strong account management and relationship-building skills; familiarity with SAP systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, both within and outside the designated region, along with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, fluent in both French and English (written and spoken); proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
