About the Role:
As the Assistant Director of People and Culture, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the People and Culture strategy and execution, overseeing the day-to-day running of the People and Culture function, and championing top talent in the hotel. Your responsibilities will include benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, career development of staff, wage compliance, training, workers' compensation, and legal matters related to hotel employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in leading the People and Culture strategy and execution
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the People and Culture function
• Champion top talent in the hotel
• Administer benefits, manage employee relations, and oversee recruitment and retention of staff
• Communicate with staff, develop their careers, and ensure wage compliance
• Provide training, manage workers' compensation, and handle legal matters related to hotel employees
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a People and Culture leadership role, preferably in a hospitality environment
• Solid experience in Human Resources Leadership and Strategy, Employee Relations, and Engagement, as well as Talent Acquisition
• Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written
• Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Workday and Microsoft Office
