Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a key member of our cost management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities- Support Business Unit Directors in achieving business objectives by providing expert cost management advice.
- Deliver high-quality cost management services, ensuring that deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and option studies to stakeholders.
- Conduct cost planning and cost-in-use studies to identify areas for cost savings.
- Advise on and implement procurement strategies to optimize project costs.
- Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
- Prepare bids for services and evaluate tenders to ensure best value for clients.
- Value completed work and arrange for payments, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
- Provide technical advice on legal and contractual issues related to construction projects.
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Produce and present reports to clients, highlighting key project milestones and cost savings.
- Advise Directors promptly of any issues that may impact on Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager with a strong background in cost management and construction economics. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients and a strong understanding of construction procurement strategies.
You will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of French construction regulations and a proficiency in MS Office.
