As a key member of the Expeditors team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities:- Penetrate Organizational Structures: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels of client organizations.
- Understand Client Business: Analyze clients' business strategies and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Communicate Service Issues: Effectively communicate service issues to department managers and supervisors.
- Identify Business Opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and development.
- Manage Client Profiles: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles in the CRM system.
- Build Territory Maps: Develop and maintain territory maps to track client locations and account activity.
- Provide Technical Updates: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and provide technical updates to clients.
- Coordinate Account Visits: Collaborate with departments to coordinate joint account visits and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Turn Over Business Opportunities: Identify and turn over business opportunities to sales and operational teams.
- Manage Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously Improve: Seek opportunities to improve procedures and services to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- University or equivalent business qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or a related field
- Proven track record of business growth and development
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in French and English
