You will contribute to the evolution of our premier product, the HTML video player, which serves over 300 million users monthly, both on our platform and through high-traffic sites utilizing our technology.

As part of our expanding operations, Dailymotion is eager to strengthen its Partner Solutions Team. You will play a crucial role in establishing the foundational elements of our product and developing cutting-edge features in close collaboration with Front Developers, Designers, and Scrum Masters.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and guide a team of Development engineers through recruitment, constructive feedback, and hands-on career development. Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture focused on delivering business value. Oversee the workload and project assignments of direct reports and engage in company-wide staffing initiatives. Advocate for agile software development practices and contribute to the development and promotion of effective engineering and organizational methodologies. Collaborate closely with fellow engineering managers and product managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of incoming requirements, shape solutions, and translate product needs into actionable projects. You will frequently engage with engineering managers from related teams to optimize our use-cases and enhance efficiency. Ensure timely project delivery by reviewing, directing, and guiding the work of engineers, either directly or through senior engineers. Drive team productivity by steering the technical vision of the core platform that underpins all our use-cases. Participate in defining and delivering the roadmap and contributing to strategic company decisions.Required Qualifications
You should be a technical manager with a solid grasp of project details. Prior experience as a manager or team lead, ideally within a development engineering context, is essential. You have the ability to challenge and nurture your team members: you can question technical designs and project timelines, promote experimentation, and uphold quality standards. You can articulate and present a compelling vision/roadmap for your team. You have a successful engineering background and are adept at delivering projects even when requirements are vague (testing, delivery, maintenance, refactoring, bug fixing): you are a systems thinker who can see how all components fit together. Deliver high-quality, tested code on schedule, adhering to industry best practices and meeting all product and technical specifications. You possess the ability to collaborate with various business sectors (product, data) and multiple stakeholders (engineers, infrastructure, product managers, devops, etc.). Demonstrate a passion for technology by consistently suggesting improvements (better code, faster delivery, easier maintenance, etc.). Proficient in written and verbal English (documentation, team presentations, meetings). Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with web development, web architecture, HTTP, JSON/RPC, REST API. Experience with collaborative software engineering techniques and methodologies: agile development, continuous delivery, code review/pairing, unit testing, etc. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with modern frontend development frameworks (React/Preact or similar). Demonstrated interest in problem-solving and technical innovation.Additional Skills
A solid understanding of either Python or PHP. Experience with JavaScript SDK development. Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL). Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment testing, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins) and Docker.
