Job Title: Tech Lead Frontend

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead Frontend to join our dynamic team at Lyreco Switzerland AG. As a Tech Lead Frontend, you will be responsible for leading the frontend development team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the frontend development team and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  2. Support software design and implementation according to enterprise architecture guidelines.
  3. Be the first technical interlocutor for solutions owned by the team and communicate potential day-to-day pressures.
  4. Manage the technical stack.
  5. Promote, align and support best-in-class development principles (e.g., Clean Code, Clean Architecture, DDD/BDD/TDD).
  6. Encourage practices such as pair programming, peer testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  7. Promote and support knowledge sharing for Frontend tools and technologies.
  8. Be an active member and contributor of the Community of Practice.
  9. Identify market trends that may benefit the team/product through technological watch and present, adopt, and implement these trends.
  10. Support the Team Manager in recruiting new talents for the Squad/Team.
  11. Support the Team Manager in the continuous development of team members, both personally and within their area of expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:

2+ years proven track record as a Frontend Tech Lead (with mentoring of developers), preferably in an international, multicultural environment as part of a virtual team.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) for software development including DevOps.

  8. Able to support recruiting and talent retention.
  9. Capable of analyzing existing solutions and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements, as well as assisting in training new employees.

Technical skills:

  1. Proven track record as Tech Lead or Lead Developer.
  2. Strong fundamentals in software design and development.
  3. Knowledge of solutions architecture design patterns (Hexagonal architecture appreciated).
  4. Knowledge of global architecture design patterns.
  5. Knowledge of software craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean Coder).
  6. 5+ years of experience with frontend frameworks and libraries including Next.js, React, Angular, etc.
  7. Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  8. Knowledge of several items from the following list:
    1. REST API design and implementation.
    2. Microservices design and implementation.
    3. Continuous integration/continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
    4. Docker containerization (using Rancher appreciated).
    5. Public cloud solutions (Azure, Google Cloud Platform appreciated).
  9. Fluency in English—verbal and written.
