Job Title: Global Business Development Manager

Nippon Express Europe GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Global Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition and expand key accounts across France. As a key member of our team, you will promote industry-specific solutions based on NX group's products and supply chain solutions, develop strategies to capture new opportunities, cross-sell services, and ensure top-level relationship management with key global and regional accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Nippon Express' position in the Mobility industry and meet growth and profitability objectives with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the French market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic account plans and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends and competitors.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of min. 10 years in sales and business development, preferably within the logistics sector specifically focused on mobility or the automotive industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and logistics business models.
  • Location Requirement: Applicants must be residents of France.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the French mobility market, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Sales Excellence: Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on cross-selling and expanding customer portfolios.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
  • CRM Proficiency: Expertise in managing sales pipelines and RFQs through CRM systems.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to close deals and achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex concepts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.
