This role involves handling Product Security related incidents and performing vulnerability research on Fortinet products. The ideal candidate will have a solid security background and good understanding of Fortinet products line-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inbound PSIRT Queue, allocating tickets to engineers and ensuring timely handling.
  • Triage incidents, answer questions, test for vulnerabilities, and investigate source code.
  • Evaluate and escalate incidents beyond the field of competence/knowledge to senior analysts.
  • Discover and report unknown vulnerabilities in Fortinet products via black box analysis, fuzzing, and source code auditing.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Fortinet products line-up and a solid security background.
  • Understanding of asymmetric cryptography, scripting knowledge, high proficiency in C language, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Good understanding of vulnerabilities at source-code level and experience in vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Experience in pentesting methodologies and/or fuzzing tools is a plus.

Education:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
  • MS in Computer Science preferred.
