Chief System Architect - Cloud Automotive Services

As a pivotal figure in Stellantis' transformation into a mobility technology leader, the Chief System Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital experiences and connected services. This position is central to the End-to-End architecture group, overseeing the comprehensive architecture of our Cloud automotive services system. This system encompasses all cloud functionalities related to automotive services, including over-the-air (OTA) updates, data collection and storage, remote features, and user and vehicle authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design process to achieve a superior system architecture.
  • Thoroughly identify and address the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments to guide project direction.
  • Focus on resource reuse and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure consistency across all systems from end to end.
  • Facilitate a rapid, iterative flow from product conception through design, development, and deployment.

In this role, you will enhance the deployment of software-defined vehicles, expediting the delivery of new features to customers via OTA updates. You will advocate for cutting-edge methodologies and tools, demonstrating a passion for various automotive technology domains while acting as a natural leader across functions. Your negotiation skills with domain experts and your ability to communicate complex concepts to executives will be essential. A commitment to continuous learning about emerging technologies and improving operational methods in a global, multicultural environment is vital.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a complex industrial or IT environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of connected features.
  • Proven ability to implement the V-model process.
  • Expertise in Systems Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Functional and System-related standards.
  • Knowledge of Model-based systems engineering.
  • Understanding of System simulation techniques.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
