Job Summary:

Newrest is seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager to join its international development team. As a key member of the in-flight sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experience and driving commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial proposals and responses to tenders, ensuring technical, financial, legal, and human aspects are addressed.
  • Negotiate and conclude new contracts, ensuring optimal commercial development and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the retention of current contracts, ensuring timely renewal and expansion opportunities.
  • Oversee quality reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Facilitate information exchange between countries, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales action plans for each country, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to create country-specific air catering budgets, aligning with the company's overall strategy.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customers and countries on multi-scale projects, changes, visits, start-up support, and key contract milestones.
  • Participate in pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor customer and country performance, addressing quality, delays, food tests, inventories, stopover visits, billing, and payments.
  • Contribute to the company's commercial strategic approach, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in commercial operations or customer services, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and results-oriented approach.
  • A previous experience in the catering, in-flight, hotel, or logistics sector, in an international context, is highly valued.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Experience in managing multi-cultural teams and working in an international environment is highly desirable.
