About the Role

As a Regional Market Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the Biotech and Pharma sectors across EMEA. You'll be responsible for crafting and executing strategic marketing plans that align with our overall business objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive, multi-channel market development strategies tailored to Biotech and Pharma customers. This includes conducting competitor analysis, identifying market trends, and outlining tactical programs to achieve revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with global marketing, marketing operations, and commercial teams to create compelling sales enablement tools and customer-facing materials.
  • Work in tandem with Regional Market Development (RMD) managers across EMEA to refine portfolio strategies within the Biotech and Pharma segments.
  • Partner with our dedicated Biotech and Pharma commercial team to develop tactical plans that support pre-defined strategic goals and growth targets.
  • Represent BID EMEA within broader regional and global marketing teams, influencing activities and ensuring optimal deployment of resources within our region.
  • Develop impactful messaging and tools to communicate the value proposition directly to Biotech and Pharma customers through various channels, including marketing campaigns, distributors, and events.
  • Define a strategic engagement approach for Biotech and Pharma contacts, leveraging platforms like third-party networks, LinkedIn, and ResearchGate to maximize campaign impact.
  • Collaborate with the OEM commercial leader to define the OEM value proposition and provide marketing support to raise awareness of our capabilities within this sector.
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to optimize marketing activities. Regularly report on key insights and achievements to stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer and market research programs to gather valuable insights and drive actionable business outcomes.
  • Provide regular training and communication to sales teams, keeping them informed about market trends and best practices.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that align with commercial revenue objectives.
  • Ensure a strong return on investment for all marketing initiatives.
