Job Overview

CONTEXT
This role is part of a strategic initiative focused on the deployment of 'Trade Surveillance' solutions aimed at addressing market abuse. The position involves providing support to the project team concerning functional elements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive experience in compliance and regulatory environments is essential.
- A solid grasp of market abuse laws and practices will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Python is required for managing substantial datasets.
- Background in operational risk management or related fields, such as risk oversight, is advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with market abuse regulations, including MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) and MIFID2.
  • Experience with various financial products: derivatives, foreign exchange, interest rates (government securities, derivatives), and credit instruments.
  • Understanding of market data and both pre and post-trade operations.
  • Capability to develop detailed test scripts (reference data, market data, order, and transaction data).
  • Strong background in data manipulation within capital markets.
  • Fluency in English is required (language proficiency will be assessed during the interview).
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in developing detection logic/models for market abuse (e.g., internal systems, Actimize) and/or user interface design.
  • Proven track record in articulating business requirements related to market abuse behaviors/models.
  • Familiarity with trading platform ecosystems.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks.
