Hotel Revenue Management Role

At Accor, we are seeking a skilled Revenue Management Director to lead our hotel revenue optimization efforts. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning, collaboration with profit generation teams, and leveraging revenue management analytics and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel profits.
  • Collaborate with hotel profit generation teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Effectively communicate revenue management vision and goals to hotel leaders and teams.
  • Leverage revenue management analytics and technologies to optimize hotel profits.
  • Help create short- and long-term forecasts to inform pricing and yielding decisions.
  • Participate in annual budget process and produce long-term projections.
  • Actively participate in ownership conversations and presentations.
  • Monitor economic, market, and competitive set indicators to inform profit generation strategies.
  • Help prepare materials for weekly revenue management meetings.
  • Maximize room revenue contribution through inventory and rate management.
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, and availability strategies to target profitable customer segments.
  • Direct and manage channel distribution strategies, evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to execute, measure, and evaluate digital marketing efforts.
  • Manage performance reviews with OTA/CTO partners, ensuring optimal display of the hotel.
  • Oversee content management in electronic channels, liaising with marketing team to ensure regular updates.
  • Oversee relationship with GRC and distribution services teams.
  • Maintain relationships with local market competitors to stay informed of trends and news.
  • Motivate, lead, coach, and manage team members' performance towards exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in overseeing multi-hotel complexes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Dynamic can-do attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Presents a professional and polished appearance.
  • Effectively deals with guests and other team members.
  • Previous reservation experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with Ideas G3 RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi, or Opera Sales and Catering preferred.
  • Possessing the trait of being organized and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to complete work within given deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires the ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous. Occasional standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematic preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Revenue Management experience.
