About the Role:
New Balance is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with accounts in the territory, maximizing all footwear and apparel sales targets, and assisting accounts in growing their business with New Balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell In: Ensure qualitative follow-up and relationships with accounts, achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel territory sales targets, and operate within AM minimum standards.
- Sell Through: Analyze sales and margin performance, work closely with marketing contacts, and develop action plans to achieve monthly order book conversion and annual targets.
- Communication: Provide structured customer/account feedback, communicate effectively about New Balance's beliefs, values, objectives, and policies, and work closely with Customer Service teams.
- Efficiency: Produce sales forecasts, manage the order book, and understand and operate within New Balance policies and procedures.
Requirements for Success:
- Full, clean driving license
- Account management experience
- Sales forecasting and planning skills
- Good knowledge of and passion for the sports and lifestyle market
- Good negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- Driven to achieve targets
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- High affinity to the brand
- Ability to fulfill high levels of travel
- Team player
