About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Cyient. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving new client sales in the Energy and Plant Engineering business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline of customers and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Leverage our sales force and drive lead generation to achieve revenue growth and profitability.
  • Drive business proposals (technical and commercial) and negotiate contracts, MSA, and commercial pricing.
  • Collaborate with delivery, sales, pre-sales, and marketing organizations to drive business growth.
  • Lead by example and drive followership within the team.

Requirements

  • Fluent French language skills (read, write, and speak).
  • 10+ years of experience in metrics-driven solutions selling into the heavy Engineering industry.
  • Established contacts and relationships at the C-level, VP, and Director levels.
  • Clearly demonstrated experience in revenue growth and strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive complex technical business proposals and deal flow.
  • Built eco-system partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fundamental understanding of all phases of project and plant engineering, IoT, and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Sustainable Energy, Oil and Gas, and Power Plant industry practices and market trends.
