INSEAD is currently recruiting a Human Resources Director within the Human Resources Department, to be based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau (France). This is permanent position on a full-time basis. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional who will work closely with the leadership team of supported departments to enable business initiatives with HR solutions.
**Job Description**:
Contribute to the School HR Strategy
Together with the HR Leadership Team, create and/or contribute to the HR Strategy; align HR strategy with business strategy.
Develop a departmental HR strategy in line with the School & Department business strategy and the School HR strategy.
Provide internal consultancy
Work with the Department Leadership Teams to make the departments Great Places to Work.
Advise Leadership Teams on how to address the PSR problems and implement a preventive PSR strategy for the department.
Coach and advise business leaders on organizational design/development, individual and team leadership development, social/interpersonal relations issues etc.
Guide staff in the departments to adopt HR TPSP (Tools, Processes, Systems, Solutions) that drive the delivery of the Business & HR strategy and that build the required culture. Enable change through consultation with business leaders, and HR colleagues.
Facilitate/deliver working sessions, seminars, trainings etc.
Lead the HR solution diagnostic and co-design the solutions
Diagnose business and people issues in the departments and liaise with COEs (when necessary) to create appropriate solutions to fit the needs, goals, and aims of the activity/business lines, and of the school as a whole.
Supervise HR Delivery
The HRBP is the “one stop shop” for business leaders with regards to all HR services to the staff of her/his department.
Strategy
(S)he ensures that there is alignment between the departmental strategy and the School’s people management strategy (GPTW).
Management and Support
The HRBP consults and works with the departmental head and leadership team in order to create a great place to work for staff, to foster and promote the right culture and highest level of engagement and well-being of staff. (S)he coaches leaders in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, workforce planning and recruitment practices, and training/talent management and development, and team performance processes. (S)he assists leadership in resolving employee relation issues.
Recruiting/Talent Sourcing
The HR Business Partner creates - with the department leadership - the short and long-term workforce/capability plan to guarantee the timely attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talents that will further drive the achievement of the department’s objectives.
Learning and Management/Leadership development
The HR Business Partner reviews gaps in leadership capability in her/his departments and develops action plans accordingly. The HR Business Partner collaborates with the department leadership in identifying professional development needs, and implementing a (continuous) learning/upskilling portfolio for employees.
Knowledge
The HR Business Partner maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of the educational industry trends, HR best practices, and labor legislation.
**Requirements**:
Minimum Master's Degree (HR, Economics or Law preferred) with at least 10 years of professional experience
HR Education or relevant experience
Proven advisory skills
Digital Saviness - experience with implementing, running and improving HRIS is a plus
Excellent knowledge of French Labour Law - knowledge of Singapore / Abu Dhabi labour law a definite plus
Experience in working in an multi-cultural and international environment
Excellent command of French and English (spoken/written)
