**Job Title: Sales Director - Industrial Solutions (Solid-State RF)** **Role Purpose** We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Sales Director to lead our Industrial Solutions push. You will be responsible for driving the global transition from legacy vacuum-tube RF systems to advanced, high-efficiency **Solid-State RF (SSRF)** architectures. This role is not just about selling components; it is about delivering disruptive industrial energy solutions that offer precise control, higher reliability, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO). **1. Market Segmentation & Strategic Focus** You will identify and prioritize opportunities across the broader RF landscape (Telecom, Defense, Medical, etc.), but your primary focus will be on the **Top 2 High-Growth Industrial Segments**: - **Applications: Industrial Welding & Drying**: Targeting food processing (cooking, baking, thawing, defrosting), têxtiles, and wood drying and more where uniform energy distribution is critical. - **Advanced Materials & Chemistry**: Segments that you will identify and develop over the mid and longer term. **2. Key Responsibilities** **Strategy & GTM Execution** - **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement a 3-year sales strategy and annual Go-To-Market (GTM) action plan focused on "Tube-to-Solid-State" replacement cycles. - **Value Proposition**: Define and articulate the ROI of SSRF (efficiency, longevity, and digital control) compared to traditional existing solutions on the market. - **Market Intelligence**: Monitor GaAsGaN-on-SiC and similar technology trends to adjust pricing and positioning. - **Accounts Concentration**: Ensuring the sales process isn't just "coasting" on one giant client, but diversifying the book of business. **Business Development & Acquisition** - **New Customer Acquisition**: Hunter-mindset approach to identify and penetrate "Tier 1" industrial OEMs and system integrators, as well as pursue actual effort on the actual opportunities. - **Pipeline Management**: Build and manage a multi-million-dollar global pipeline using CRM (Odoo) to track the long-cycle industrial sales process. - **Sales Cycle Improvement**:Work towards reducing the average time from first contact to a PoC and signed Purchase Order (PO) **PoC & Technical Closing** - **PoC Launch & Management**: Lead the initiation of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects at customer sites. Collaborate with the engineering team and the Biz Dev Director to ensure technical validation. - **Follow-up & Scaling**: Move customers from successful PoC/prototyping phases to pilot production and finally to long-term, recurring volume supply agreements. **Reporting & Account Governance** - **Executive Reporting**: Provide weekly/monthly updates on KPIs including Design-Win value, "Funnel Velocity," and revenue forecasts to the CEO, using Odoo as the main platform. - **Market information**: exchange and coordination with Business Development Director - **Customer Advocacy**: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and early involvement in their next-gen product roadmaps. **3. Required Qualifications** - **Experience**: 5+ years in B2B technical sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the RF/Microwave or Semiconductor industry. - **Technical Fluency**: Deep understanding of RF energy, Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs), and the advantages of GaN/LDMOS technologies. - **Sales Acumen**: Proven track record of closing complex, multi-year industrial deals ($1M+ deal size). - **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics is required; an MBA is highly preferred. **4.
