**Areas of Responsibility**:
The Head of Business Development is responsible for the operational management of development initiatives within their assigned country, aligned with the Group's growth strategies and objectives. They coordinate business development projects, acquisitions, and partnerships, ensuring that initiatives reach a construction-ready status.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the identification of new development opportunities for the country, in line with the company's strategies.
- Manage partnership agreements with local suppliers and ensure the progress of projects in the portfolio.
- Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate internal and external teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the relevant Operational Units (UO) to advance projects.
- Monitor project budgets and reporting for ongoing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with national and EU regulations regarding environmental sustainability, health, and safety.
- Present and represent projects during public meetings with stakeholders and local authorities.
- Support M&A activities throughout all phases, from due diligence to drafting offers and negotiating terms.
**Studies**:
Degree in engineering or related fields.
**Work Experience**:
- At least 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar).
- Experience in managing business development operations, permitting, and M&A.
**Languages**:
Proficient in English (C1/C2 level).
**Know - How & Managerial Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of energy regulations and renewable sector dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
- Strong planning and budgeting abilities, both economic and financial.
- Advanced skills in Project Management.
- Proactivity and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities with various stakeholders.
- Results-oriented, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
