**Trade Floor Desktop Support**

As a Barclays Trade Floor Desktop Support, you’ll be responsible for supporting Front Office users and computers. You’ll be responsible for providing client-facing Customer Service support on technical infrastructure activities including first

**What will you be doing?**:

- Monitoring Major Incident reports, keeping aware of outages that affect users
- Managing and leading major GTIS initiatives impacting the user experience and ensuring smooth delivery of projects to Front Office users
- Interacting with GTIS and business areas to ensure all changes are implemented with mínimal impact on the user community
- Being prepared to quickly resolve or delegate any possible issue a user can have with technology, while adhering to risk management and best practices
- Liaising between the Business, and IT teams like Market Data, Messaging, RTB and in-house developer teams to bring about speedy resolution
- Ensuring 100% start-of-day workstation readiness, especially after maintenance weekends

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent work experience
- A working knowledge of current industry technologies (Cloud, Virtualization, M365)
- Foundational knowledge of ITIL concepts and Help Ticket best practices

**Skills that will help you**
**in the role**:

- Experience in supporting Front Office, client-facing employees remotely and in-person
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Registry, Roaming Profiles, SCCM, Group Policy, Hardware Drivers, Anti-malware, Hotfixes
- Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite and add-ins
