**About US** Within Symrise, the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment draws on its expertise and scientific research to offer its customers and partners unique, sustainable solutions based on natural ingredients in the fields of taste, nutrition and health. With more than 100 sites in over 40 countries, the segment serves the food and beverage industry as well as pet food manufacturers and aquaculture. The segment is divided into two divisions, Food & Beverage and Pet Food, and two Business Units, Aqua Feed and Probi. The Pet Food division offers product solutions and services to improve the taste and acceptance of food by pets, to ensure the safety of pet food and for animal health. To study food acceptance, feeding behaviour and interactions between owners and pets, the division maintains four expert centres with around 1,000 of its own dogs and cats. Following the idea of "the closer, the better", Symrise Pet Food, [part of the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment,] serves its customers from over 30 locations worldwide. **Center of Excellence Digital Project Manager W/M/D** **Your role** Digital strategy and project management**: - Own, manage and animate one or several R&D projects. Participate in innovation processus, with other SymPF departments. - Collects needs from users, in connection with business processes, and transcribes them into functional specifications. - From initiation to launch, with internal and external partners, manage projects to optimize the performance of existing digital tools or create new ones and their connections, following steps and key milestones to achieve the deliverables. **Technical activity management** - Follow up on the resolution of anomalies with external service providers and internal users. With the departments concerned, participate in the implementation of databases available to R&D and promotes a global data governance. - Write and update handbooks/tutorials related to these tools. Ensure training of new comers and upgrade current R&D teams. **Communication / Scientific network / Cross functionality**: - Communicate on progress and consolidate know-how and knowledge of the expertise. Promote knowledge and results. Presents - or makes expert team present - results to internal or external stakeholders. - Constitute a scientific and technical network of experts in the area of expertise, and develop partnerships. - Work preferably in interaction with IT and R&D departments at global and regional level to achieve project success. - Provide expert guidance and advice to stakeholders in the area of expertise. Carry out any related activities needed for the function **About you** - Degree in data engineering or similar. - Experience in big data projects, data architecture or data governance. - Solid skills in relational and non-relational databases - Good knowledge of Python or R, SQL - Creativity, problem solving & agility skills - Good organization and project management skills - Ability to work in a Matrix organisation. - Ability to efficiently work with internal and external stakeholders - Excellent communication skills across different cultures and maturity levels. - Results oriented mindset. - Observation and listening skills, open-minded, open to change. - Integrity - Full professional ability in English - Ability to travel **Our Offer** - Join International R&D team - Unlimited Contract - Full Time - Executive Manager - Location : Elven (35), France Job Reference: EA02029
