The Job

Own is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Manager, Business Development to join our elite Business Development team. 

As part of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a business development team. This leader will oversee a growing strategic sales team of inbound and outbound Business Development Representatives tasked with building a pipeline of opportunity in our EMEA & ANZ segment.

Your Day-to-Day Role

Execute an aggressive business development strategy to achieve team goals on a monthly basis - meetings, opportunities and pipeline Manage a team of 5-9 early-career professionals and assist in their professional development through coaching and leading from the frontDevelop strong cross-functional relationships and successfully collaborate with peer sales managers of Account ExecutivesHire quality candidates to keep up with company growth and strive to improve productivity of new hiresProvide recommendations for improving inbound and outbound strategy for building pipelineManage team performance on a monthly basisPosition the team for growth by increasing the productivity and yield of each Business Development RepresentativeOperate effectively in a high-growth fast-paced environmentDemonstrate Own values in everything you do

Your Work Experience

3+ years experience as a Senior Business Development Representative or Business Development Manager - preferably in a SaaS software companyHistory of consistently achieving sales goalsTrack record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing talentProven success working within a matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functionsStrong operational and analytical abilities and experienced in SalesforceBachelor degree strongly preferredExperience working at startup preferredWorking knowledge of Salesloft preferred

Important Details

This is a full-time position, with a commitment of 5 days a week in office. The ideal candidate will work out of our Paris office to maximise collaboration and interaction with business. Travel may be required.
