R&D Project Manager
We are currently recruiting for a R&D Project Manager at our Lyon, France office.
The R&D Project Manager position takes place in Sinclair France and will consist in managing projects in the local R&D team and taking part of the site activities (HSE, QMS, etc…). The R&D Project Manager will consist in new product development, line extension, lab studies and characterisations.
The ideal candidate will have master’s degree in chemistry, polymer science or material science. Alternatively a technical degree with experience in the same fields of application.
Hours of work: 35

Key Responsibilities
- Project management (protocol elaboration, performing lab experiments, collecting data, reporting, etc…)
- Addressing challenging timelines
- Proposing and implementing solutions
- Development of the laboratory skills (tools, equipment’s…)
- Providing support to other local departments (Production, QA, etc…)
- Reporting to the R&D team manager
- Leading projects and participating to group meetings
- Developing the local expertise to focus and elaborate around Gels, polymers, rheology, etc…
Your Skills & Experience – Do You Have What it Takes?
Essential:
- Engineering or master’s degree in chemistry, Polymer Science or Material Science
- Basics in rheology, polymer science, chemistry, characterisation
Desirable background:
- Biology
- Hydrogels
- Medical Devices
- Management
