TMF Group is hiring a senior experienced Business Development Manager to be part of it's Regional Sales Team based in France.

The remit of a Business Development Manager is primarily to achieve Annual Sales Targets, as assigned by TMF Management, by selling all TMF services to any and all prospects and/or clients within the capabilities of the Service delivery with a primary focus on the Southwest European (France/Italy/Spain/Portugal) market.

A broad and strategic remit to develop TMF’s global out-bound Southwest European market so a demonstrable strong and wide relevant network will be essential.

Driving the necessary strategic account planning, including accountability for the TMF strategic sales programs in Southwest Europe.

Working with a variety of stakeholders in and outside of Southwest Europe to originate new business, while developing networks of intermediaries where large concentrations of businesses are found.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and optimize opportunities for business growth and development within the relevant business lines to ensure continued success and expansion of the business.
- To develop, expand and build intermediary network and effective relationships to improve opportunities for cross referrals and local/ regional development.
- Develop proposals that addresses clients’ needs, concerns and objectives.
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership activities and build development plans for large client accounts.
- Provide market feedback regarding driven offerings, prospect needs and generate development ideas. Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s outstanding selling propositions and differentiators.
- Improve existing relationships and arrange / participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Own the coordination and presentation of multi-jurisdictional sales proposals to international clients.

**Key Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, law or a related field. Post-graduate qualification (ie. MBA) would be advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a commercial environment (Funds and/or Corporate Services), or in consulting, accounting or law firms
- Extensive industry experience within the market, with personal market credibility, a solid network, and an interest in our portfolio of services
- Self-motivated and able to collaborate and to drive results in a matrix environment
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Results-oriented, and able to manage their priorities, deadlines and workload
- Regular travel is required
- Able to lead coordination of sophisticated multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines. General interest in international finance/capital markets and financial instruments.
- Ambitious business focus, self-starter, diligent to details, standout colleague with phenomenal interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and prospective clients at all levels, along with the intermediaries who support them.
- Able to “solution sell”, defined as the ability to listen to the client’s needs and adapting the sale to best meet those needs, understanding that this concept is more important than making a hard sell.
