Interpath Advisory is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help build our growing French team and head our French Business Development department. As Head of Business Development France, you will be responsible for coordinating our go-to-market strategy alongside our Managing Directors, Directors and Associate Directors, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships through networking and organization of clients’ events, while developing cross-countries business initiatives together with our Managing Directors and the Head of Global PE Coverage in continental Europe.

In this role, you will work closely with the French senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives, including market analysis, competitive research, networking strategy, and lead generation. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day pipeline monitoring, from prospecting and identifying potential clients, to conducting sales presentations and negotiations and will participate in face-to-face discussion with clients. You will be the main point of contact for the Accounts managers across the Interpath network for all go-to-market initiatives related to France and will be a key pillar to rollout our Deal Advisory strategy across Europe by sharing best-practice, proposing new ideas and coordinating cross-borders projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, preferably within the professional services or financial services industry. You will have a proven track record of coordinating and implementing ambitious go-to-market roadmap. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with senior executives and decision-makers.

The successful candidate can be based either in London or Paris – frequent travel to London/Paris will be required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform business development strategies.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services to clients.
  • Track and report on sales performance and progress towards targets.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac + 5 or equivalent) in business marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the professional services or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial / all hands on deck mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Bilingual English / French.
