A seasoned professional, you are ready to take on global challenges with an international impact in a fast-growing company? We are looking for our Indirect Category Procurement Global Director for Advertising & Content Excellence
- With your team, you will ensure that our brand teams have access to the best creative resources available.
- You will be based at The Island, our flagship office in central Paris.

Obectives
- To ensure that our brand teams have access to the best creative resources available, and these resources are deployed optimally (effectively and efficiently) to drive effective creative excellence across Pernod Ricard’s brand portfolio.
- Build and Execute the Global Procurement strategy playbook for Content Development & Production, underpinned by a robust roadmap to deliver against our business ambitions.

Your key missions
- Define the Global Pernod Ricard Sourcing Strategy(ies) for Advertising Agencies, Content Development and Production;
- Maximize value along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard’s scale & professional procurement practices) Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand tightly), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity).
- Lead change and deliver fit-for-purpose agency solutions for Design, Creative Development, Assets Production, Adaptation, Talent, Usage Rights management and PR.
- Translating our overarching Diversity and S&R commitments into the category agenda and agency partners;
- Prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits & monitor category budgets to drive cost optimization;
- Accountable for the execution of negotiation strategy, contractual terms, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance of Creative & Production Services
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing spend to increase ROI and manage our agency roster including performance reviews;
- Partner with the Marketing Effectiveness team to maximize assets usage and optimize ‘Working vs. Non-Working’ spend in advertising.
- Pursue opportunities to decouple production from creative agencies, supported by a robust process and brand benefits
- Lead the development and implementation of a codified agency commercial engagement framework. Put in place a worldwide production ecosystem for Pernod Ricard brands and agencies to engage with, identify a needs-based approach of securing production resources & capabilities. Upgrade how we manage our roster and agencies in general.
- Develop a clear path to delivery of all assets globally by establishing/enabling technology that delivers assets globally. Keep ahead of upcoming technological tools that could assist the creative/production process (e.g. dynamic creative optimization, A.I. etc.)
- Onboard key stakeholders & orchestrate transversal ways of working across our Brand Companies and corporate functions to bring to life our creative excellence strategy;
- Develop an internal and external PR/Comms plan that drives awareness of Pernod Ricard’s activities and success in the area of creative/production excellence;
- Responsible for supplier identification, development and management:

- Understand supplier market dynamics/intelligence. Actively engage in the creative & production world to identify current/future trends, bringing this back to Pernod Ricard;
- Drive agency selection, agency base development, and new agency pipeline identification
- Strategic interface towards creative agencies and build strong agency relationships
- Responsible for a total spend of 250m EUR;
- Owns the commercial framework and commercial relationship with our In-House agency;
- Manage directly procurement category manager(s) and analyst(s);
- Set functional targets, suite of KPI’s and evaluates performance - enabling us to track the successful implementation of the creative & production excellence strategy;
- Actively participate to the PR Procurement transformation (_SmartSpend_), drive Creative & Production transformation workstreams and business alignment;
