We are currently looking for a new Associate Director, Development, to join our Advancement department. This is a full-time, permanent position based on our Fontainebleau campus, hybrid working model is in place.
Philanthropic relationships with alumni, individuals and organisations are critical to supporting excellence and academic innovation. The Advancement Department, partnering with the INSEAD community and beyond, are realizing - and surpassing - ambitious objectives in engagement and philanthropic support via the current Force for Good Campaign. It is a truly exciting time to join the Major Gift Team within Advancement to further contribute to this highly successful effort.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Development, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding high level donor relationships, with a focus on the UK, plus other countries in Europe with high potential for donor support. As an internal advocate for the fundraising strategy, you will provide a coordinated approach with faculty, staff colleagues and senior volunteers.
Extensive experience working in major gift fundraising and campaign development, preferably in an academic environment
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to effectively manage a range of key stakeholders
Be diplomatic, energetic, fun, positive and culturally sensitive, with openness to a multi-cultured organization
The ability to think creatively and entrepreneurially while staying organised and metrics based
Fluency in English
Fluency or advanced ability in French would be a distinct asset
