Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Group Sales Coordinator in France.

Based in Paris, you will be responsible for the coordination of Group Sales and assuring that the team reaches or exceeds set sales targets. You will work to identify and support group movements that will help to contribute towards the region’s revenue.

Specific Accountabilities include:

- Plan, organize and manage the group sales for France to ensure an efficient and economical handling.
- Ensure an overall utilisation of booked seats for more than half of capacity measured from 90 days prior to the departure.
- Evaluate the request for potential business that will materialise and contribute to relevant input for sales and capital expenditure budgets. Monitor the results to ensure the revenue increase for the station.
- Handle group business for Europe and work alongside the sales to guide and help contributing towards the station in achieving their assigned targets.
- Receive and evaluate group requests from travel agencies and/or corporate sectors to ensure timely action to have a better materialization ratio.
- Understand the flight loads prior to submitting group requests for quick response and effective materialisation.
- Follow up with group desk and inform the client accordingly after the proposal has been sent to ensure materialization and avoid risk of diverting the business to the competitors.
- Ensure are updated in the PNR that tickets are properly reflecting and associated to passengers after issuance of tickets.
- Check and verify group materialisation ratio as per QR policy to process refunds. In case re-evaluation needed, resends the groups’ request to head office for proper re-evaluation as per the competition.

- Sales operation/ groups experience within the Aviation/travel industry
- Experience using a GDS system
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent French and English language skills

You must have the legal right to live and work in France for this role.
