Job Summary

The Associate Director – Business Development & In-Licensing will play a pivotal role in the organisation's growth strategy by identifying, evaluating and securing strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities and BD deals. This role is a key contributor to the company's success and requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate licensing and supply agreements/contracts with suppliers.
  • Work closely with the legal team to finalize the CDAs, licensing and supply agreements/contracts with suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential development and licensing opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead and negotiate licensing agreements, including drafting and reviewing contracts, financial terms and intellectual property rights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field.
  • Several years of experience in business development, licensing, or related roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid understanding of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex scientific, financial and legal information.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory requirements. You will also need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
