Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director – Business Development & In-Licensing will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and securing strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, and business development deals.

This role will involve working closely with senior management to define in-licensing needs, negotiating licensing and supply agreements/contracts with suppliers, and collaborating with the legal team to finalize contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential development and licensing opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, leading and negotiating licensing agreements, and drafting and reviewing contracts, financial terms, and intellectual property rights.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field
  • Several years of experience in business development, licensing, or related roles in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex scientific, financial, and legal information

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships and licensing agreements.
