Job Title: Sr. Manager

Job Summary:

Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manager to lead our global customer support team. As the primary liaison between customers, multi-site teams, and executive management, you will be responsible for ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and monitoring the status of repair processes to meet customer satisfaction and turn times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-site global customer support team and develop standard processes across all sites
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and address customer concerns in a proactive manner
  • Answer complex customer inquiries on product availability, part interchangeability, maintenance, and order status
  • Inform company personnel of incoming customer orders and monitor processing of all customer requests and orders
  • Coordinate the resolution of customer issues related to pricing, schedule, cost, quality, warranty, invoicing, and technical matters
  • Proactively communicate with customers to acknowledge receipt of requests and provide status reports
  • Act as focal point for all incoming and outgoing written and verbal communication with assigned customers
  • Keep sales department personnel informed of customer activity and issues
  • Develop and provide periodic repair order status reports to company management and customers
  • Ensure high-quality services during customer visits, trade shows, and product demonstrations
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to make business judgments and decisions independently
  • Effective management of multiple tasks with rapid changes in priorities
  • Ability to handle adverse and urgent situations
  • 3-5 years' experience managing global customer service in the aviation industry
  • Customer service experience in the aviation industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience

Military Aviation Customer Service Background
