Key Responsibilities
As part of a significant organizational transformation, we are establishing a new Group Operational Excellence Division aimed at enhancing both revenue and cost efficiency across our stores. This initiative focuses on refining in-store operations by utilizing both internal insights and external innovations, while also supporting new openings and revitalizing underperforming locations to ensure sustainable growth.
This division will comprise four specialized teams:
• Store Solutions
• Local Supply Chain, Loss Prevention, and Cross-Functional Project Management
• Operational Quality Assurance
• Indirect Procurement
The Store Solutions team is tasked with delivering comprehensive solutions to enhance operational performance and disseminate best practices for continuous improvement. This includes a range of initiatives such as innovative checkout systems, autonomous retail environments, energy efficiency measures, and staff network tools, with the expectation that the Operational Excellence Projects Manager will contribute new ideas to this evolving agenda.

The Operational Excellence Projects Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives, overseeing these projects from inception to execution across all operational territories.
In this capacity, the key responsibilities include:
Providing project management oversight for assigned initiatives: organizing project teams, coordinating with various stakeholders at both the country and headquarters levels. The project portfolio will evolve, and the manager is expected to proactively adapt and enhance their projects.Creating comprehensive documentation to facilitate project rollout: best practices, guidelines, training materials, webinars, and executive summaries for senior management.Tracking and documenting qualitative and quantitative outcomes post-implementation: establishing robust benchmarks and sharing operational best practices to promote continuous improvement across all regions.Supporting local teams in the daily operational execution of projects, adopting a hands-on approach.Actively participating in the LEaP and future STARS program initiatives: preparing materials and presentations for project teams, organizing webinars and operational events, and contributing to the development of a new internal recognition program.Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Management or Engineering and should have:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.Experience in Operations, Strategy, Project Management, or Finance.While ideally based in the Paris area, other European locations may be considered.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (organization, coordination, prioritization) and strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate analytical capabilities and be fluent in both English and French.
A passion for challenges, along with recognized adaptability, curiosity, and versatility, is vital. The ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and manage unexpected situations is crucial.
Strong organizational skills, anticipation, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks and projects while achieving ambitious outcomes are necessary. A keen interest in operations and a practical, hands-on approach are also important.
Excellent synthesis skills (both oral and written) and strong communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
