About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling hotel reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding service and are looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify hotel reservations on a daily basis, ensuring accurate room allocation and special requests.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with their stay, providing information and making recommendations as needed.
- Inform the Hotel Manager of any VIP or group bookings.
- Prepare and reconcile daily reservation reports.
- Maximize room occupancy and revenue through effective sales strategies and regular availability checks.
- Collaborate with the hotel's financial department to resolve any reservation-related issues.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing calls from guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an asset.
- Fluency in French and English, with a working knowledge of a third language (e.g. Chinese, Spanish).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
