At Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiet, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservation Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for handling hotel reservations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and maximizing hotel revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Manage hotel reservations, including taking bookings, modifying, and canceling reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and organization at the working station.
- Maximize hotel revenue by up-selling rooms, types, and services to guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a courteous, friendly, and personalized greeting and farewell.
- Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and Accor's 'Resavision' program.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize occupancy and average room rate.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of guest information, including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
- Minimize no-shows by reconfirming arrivals and checking for duplicate reservations.
- Follow up on all guest requests, ensuring response within 24 hours of receipt.
- Process and update corporate/travel agency information, including room rates and allotments.
- Prepare and follow up on arrival information, including 3-day checks and same-day reservations.
- Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year related experience or 6 months experience in reservations/front office or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and OPERA.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English and Vietnamese.
