Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a newly established Manager role within our People Experience (HR) Consulting team, which spans several regions in Western Europe, including Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Portugal. In this role, you will take on Line Management responsibilities for a small team of Consultants while also being actively involved in regional operations as a player-coach.

Our Global People Experience Consultant team collaborates with local leaders on various People Management issues, serving as in-country experts on local employee relations. We work closely with our Global Centres of Expertise (CoE's) and the Advisory (payroll and administration) Team based in Lisbon, ensuring our initiatives align with the strategic goals of our Global Functions through collaboration with Global Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a small team of Consultants.
  • Tailor and implement CoE-designed solutions to meet local needs.
  • Develop and execute targeted strategies for CoE areas such as Change Management, Talent, Employee Relations, and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Provide personalized local advice and support on Employee Relations matters.
  • Enhance local People Manager capabilities.
  • Contribute insights to CoE's to ensure effective problem-solving.
  • Manage and uphold country-specific HR policies and processes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with local leaders to identify and implement engagement strategies within their teams.
  • Engage with local Unions and Works Councils as required.

We seek a candidate with a strong leadership presence and substantial experience in Employee Relations, including performance and absence management, organizational change processes, collective bargaining agreements, and Union engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently while being part of a broader global team. Experience in a Global Organization is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of two or more countries within the region.

Qualifications:

Essential: Proven experience in a Global Organization, with detailed knowledge of two or more countries within the region.

Desirable: Professional HR accreditation and Labor Law training.
