Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Development Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and partnerships with key clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements that drive efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client operational teams to ensure effective use of Ocado Smart Platform (OSP)
- Maintain excellent knowledge of key client operational KPIs and performance to identify areas of opportunity
- Work closely with clients to implement process improvements and ensure they are using all available OSP features to drive maximum efficiency and business growth
- Lead successful deployments and operational go-lives for OSP features and products, ensuring clients are prepared and ready
- Collaborate with Ocado teams to provide necessary knowledge and information for successful utilisation of OSP, enabling clients to achieve their business objectives
- Coordinate with Ocado teams to build and maintain positive client relationships
- Identify and share best practices and learnings with other Key Account Development Managers
- Highlight process improvements within Ocado, client OSP operations, and onsite Ocado teams
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Fluent English language skills
- Experience in a retail or logistics operation
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and optimisation processes
- Strong stakeholder, relationship-building, and networking skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with large groups of people
- Self-motivated with an ability to deliver to deadlines and multi-task under pressure
- Highly organised and resilient with an eye for detail
- Understanding of project management frameworks
- Able to handle difficult situations with positivity, confidence, and pragmatism
- Energy, enthusiasm, and tenacity
