Head of Sales and Marketing B2B Lead

As the Head of Sales and Marketing B2B at Back Market, you will play a critical role in developing and expanding our B2B presence globally. You will lead a team of talented sales professionals and work closely with them to drive growth, build client relationships, and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global sales strategy to expand Back Market's reach in the SMB sector, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, including prospecting, demonstrating Back Market's value proposition, handling pricing and negotiations, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of targets, leveraging CRM tools to track opportunities, manage customer data, and forecast sales performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Customer Success, Supply, and Product to provide the best possible solutions to our customers, ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to ongoing account management.
- Conduct market analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, translating these insights into strategic opportunities to drive business growth.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of B2B sales professionals, providing coaching and development to ensure team members meet and exceed revenue targets and key performance metrics.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales, including substantial experience in SaaS Sales, with a proven track record in B2B marketing and CRM management.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets in a competitive market.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics within the SMB sector.
- Strong knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, lead generation, and CRM systems, with the ability to leverage CRM tools for sales optimization and customer relationship management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse sales team, with experience in setting goals and driving team performance.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies and outcomes.
