About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Proposal Management Leader to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of large and complex project proposals, as well as managing a team of Bid Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of large and complex project proposals, focusing on the growth of this activity to secure new complex projects.
- Manage a team of Bid Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful proposal development.
- Collaborate with the EU DoC ITO Leader and regional Sales team to select proposal development opportunities and define commercial strategies.
- Ensure the availability of supporting resources and performance of proposal development, while managing costs, quality, deadlines, and technical performance.
- Drive the team through the negotiation steps and ensure proposals submissions are on time.
Requirements
- Masters degree in engineering or similar.
- Relevant experience in sales and commercial positions, with a focus on bid/proposal management in international industrial and municipal B2B transactions.
- Knowledge of the water and waste water industry and its relevant technologies.
- Fluent in English (oral and written) and ability to present complex cases with ease.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment and influence/persuade others.
