About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion within key biopharmaceutical and biotech accounts.

Job Description:
  • Influencing the use and evaluation of our Bioproduction products with biopharmaceutical and biotech organizations
  • Maintaining and growing existing key accounts while seeking new relationships in less well-known segment areas
  • Balancing resources to drive sales objectives
  • Collaborating efficiently with other teams to bring valuable details to customers
  • Providing accurate forecasts and lost order reporting as well as competitive information
Requirements:
  • > 5 years of sales experience in the Bioproduction market or industry-related experiences preferred
  • Established sales history and relationships with upstream and downstream process development groups within key biopharmaceutical accounts
  • Strong technical skills to discuss requirements in Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins, and Monoclonal antibodies
  • Knowledge of accounts and interpreting customer needs
  • Strong analytical abilities for territory sales data and technical information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in English and French
  • Extensive travel throughout the region
Salary and Benefits:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
