Procurement Specialist for Facilities Management

Verkor is a pioneering industrial company in France, dedicated to low-carbon battery manufacturing. With the backing of prominent industrial companies, we aim to electrify European mobility. Our international team of over 350 experts from 38 countries is united in bringing this ambitious project to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the strategy and sourcing activity for Facilities Management Services (Capex-Opex) for our Verkor Giga Factory in Dunkirk.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective, and service-oriented solutions for internal customers across various departments.
  • Contribute to category strategy definition with key stakeholders and category leader.
  • Represent Indirect Procurement for Facility Management activity, supporting the ramp-up of the plant and construction works environment.
  • Drive sourcing and optimize the acquisition process to reduce lead time and total cost ownership for the GF1 under construction.
  • Negotiate and monitor FM contracts, animate SRM processes, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Propose improvements in procurement processes and procedures to ensure department effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in Indirect Procurement and Facility Management.
  • Master's degree in Procurement Management or Engineer degree.
  • Familiarity with large-scale categories, especially Facility Management (cleaning, security, building maintenance, multi-technical maintenance, offices, HVAC, clean concept).
  • Experience with digital solutions for procurement and FM contract management.
  • ERP system knowledge (SAP) and sourcing platforms (Microsoft applications).
  • Good relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, result-oriented, and strategic thinker.
