Job Title
QA Automation Engineer - Hospitality Business IntelligenceAs a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the Hospitality Business Intelligence R&D delivery team. Operating primarily in an Agile setting, you will collaborate closely with all stakeholders to ensure that requirements are fulfilled to the highest quality standards.
Your background should encompass Automation Testing for web applications, alongside proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming such as Java, and practical experience with various databases for data validation purposes.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Ensuring quality in project deliveries
- Develop automation frameworks and reusable automation tests/test scripts utilizing Selenium in JAVA.
- Proficient in Oracle with hands-on experience in SQL.
- Understanding of SOA Automation.
Test Design and Execution
- Create and develop test cases and scripts as required.
- Set up test environments, prepare test data, and execute test cases.
- Make go/no-go decisions for customer test campaigns.
- Oversee quality control for projects, products, or releases.
Problem Tracking and Resolution
- Provide developers with necessary information to rectify defects.
- Verify PTR fixes and make go/no-go decisions for the deployment of Production PTRs.
- Document software defects comprehensively.
Communication and Coordination
- Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless delivery of projects.
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing across various departments and stakeholders.
About our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing with tools such as Selenium, including UI testing and framework design.
- 3+ years of advanced programming skills, particularly in Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java).
- Hands-on experience in Backend Testing using SQL across multiple databases.
- Experience in API Testing with tools like POSTMAN and SOAP UI.
- Familiarity with tools such as Maven, JUnit, TestNG, and Jenkins.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
- Proven track record of enhancing automated test coverage for existing applications.
- Fluency in English.
