Director of Sales and Marketing

Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team. As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for shaping the hotel's market presence and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute sales strategies for the Hotel across all market segments.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Hotel's sales vision, products, services, and rate structure to drive business objectives.
  • Actively sell all attributes of the Hotel, including Conference facilities and Food and Beverage features.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Revenue to ensure room night and revenue targets are met.
  • Identify new opportunities for the Hotel and across the Accor business.
  • Work with the Director of Revenue and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve optimum revpar/revenue/yield results for all segments of the business unit.
  • Develop a strategic plan for identifying major accounts and business opportunities.
  • Review weekly forecasts and market share reports to ensure business levels and market share are maintained.
  • Maximise hotel revenue through effective pricing, space management, and conversion.
  • Explore opportunities for joint ventures with domestic industry partners.
  • Establish a high profile across the region and with key accounts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in senior sales and marketing roles in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of growing market share in targeted areas.
  • Proven experience working with Owners and Senior Management.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
