Cloud Technical Account Manager

Job Summary

At AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch), we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Account Manager to join our team. As a Cloud Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and use of AWS services among our customers, providing strategic technical guidance, and advocating for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Proactively maintain customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges.
  • Represent AWS within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for four (4) of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Due to the nature of the role, bilingualism in French and English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead.
  • Experience in Informational Technology operations.
  • Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.
